This beautifully hand crafted tea flower is 100% organic, and is made of white tea leaves and chrysanthemum flower petals. Initially the tea is a tightly closed ball about 1.5" in diameter, however when infused in hot water the leaves expand and unfurl into the beautiful image you see above. The tea flower can be infused for a longer period of time than loose-tea without getting bitter. If you want to use the tea flower as a display, first infuse the tea ball in hot water, then after the flower has fully opened, replace the hot tea infusion with clear, cold water. The cold water will halt the infusion process, and your tea flower will maintain its appearance for a couple of days.
