Healthy Tea Cocktails
Looking for healthy cocktails this summer? Use tea!
Read MoreElderflower brew into one of the gentlest cups in the herbal cupboard: light-bodied and honey-sweet, with notes of pear, muscat grape and fresh meadow. The tiny cream-coloured blossoms carry a fragrance that's floral without being perfumed — soft, rounded and quietly summery. On their own, they make a soothing caffeine-free tisane for any hour of the day. In blends, they add a honeyed lift to green teas, chamomile and fruit infusions without crowding other flavours. Elderflower's affinity for citrus is famous. A squeeze of lemon and a little honey turns the tisane into a delicate homemade cordial, lovely hot or chilled over ice with sparkling water. The dried blossoms also shine in the kitchen: steeped into syrups for desserts, cocktails and summer spritzers.
