Carnivale for Teatails

Tropical fruit flavours and South African rooibos are delicious in this herbal blend. It embodies the smells and flavours of the African festival season and piques all of your senses creating an experience that walks a fine line between excitement and relaxing escape. The carnival culture of Brazil and the Caribbean stems from African traditions, who have an ancient tradition of parading and moving in circles through villages wearing masks and costumes. Festivals were believed to heal problems, chill out angry relatives who died and to bring good fortune.

Basic Infusion recipe
Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup Carnivale for Teatails
• 500mL alcohol of choice (we recommend vodka for this teafusion)

Directions:
Mix ingredients together in a wide mouth container. Allow to sit for 1 hour at room temperature.
Remove tea leaves from alcohol and filter alcohol twice through a fine mesh filter.
Add sparkling water and a slice of lime or orange over ice.

A delicious and sweet cocktail that is sugar-free and full of antioxidants!

Carnivale Sangria recipe

Sangria is a popular summertime drink. Instead of using sugary fruit juices, we use tea, fresh fruit pieces and white wine.
Recipe for 1.5 Liters
Ingredients:

1 bottle of white wine, we suggest a Sauvignon Blanc
½ cup brandy
¼ cup Carnivale for Teatails
1 cup sliced oranges
1 lime, sliced thinly
Optional: sparkling water

Directions:
Infuse Carnivale for Teatails in brandy for 60 minutes. Remove tea and strain the brandy infusion.
Muddle oranges and lime at the bottom of your pitcher. Add 1-2 cups of ice, then pour in the brandy infusion and the white wine.
Serve with sparkling water.
