Nutmeg Powder

Certified organic nutmeg powder

Nutmeg Powder

Nutmeg powder is a finely ground spice derived from the seed of the nutmeg tree (Myristica fragrans). It is known for its warm, aromatic, and slightly sweet flavor, which adds depth and complexity to a wide range of dishes.

Nutmeg powder is celebrated for its rich and aromatic scent. It has a warm, sweet, and slightly nutty fragrance with hints of spice and earthiness. The aroma is both inviting and comforting.

The flavor of nutmeg powder is characterized by its sweet, nutty, and woody notes, along with a subtle spiciness. It is often described as a combination of cinnamon and cloves but with a unique, distinct profile. When used in moderation, nutmeg imparts a warm and delightful taste to dishes.

Nutmeg powder is a versatile spice used in both sweet and savory dishes. It is a common ingredient in baked goods like pies, cakes, and cookies, where it enhances the flavor of desserts. Additionally, nutmeg is used in various savory dishes such as soups, stews, sauces, and meat-based recipes. It is also a key component in popular spice blends like pumpkin spice and garam masala. Nutmeg is used sparingly due to its potent flavor.

In addition to its culinary uses, nutmeg is believed to have potential health benefits. It has been used in traditional medicine for its anti-inflammatory, digestive, and calming properties, although it should be consumed in moderation.

This tea tastes calming to me. Lightly herbal and floral. No jarring or overpowering flavors here. It is truly a refreshing tea.

I have been drinking spearmint tea religously to help with my hormonal acne for the last few months. This tea tastes amazing. Fresh and perfect every time. I love a really deep flavour so I always add way more than normal, and it still tastes sooo good. My husband has one every night with me instead of an alcoholic nightcap so he loves it too! Bought my first 100g pack a bit ago and we are already buying another one!

I bought this tea a while ago and didn’t really drink it for a while. I’ve recently started doing little tea lattes in the afternoons at work, and I figured I’d try to do a golden latte.

It’s SO GOOD. It’s perfect when the office is cold, fun to make lattes with my coworkers for a little break, and it’s delicious with some frothed milk (of any kind).

I’m not overly keen on its flavor on its own, but I’m a milk in my tea kinda person anyway. If you like turmeric lattes, this is perfect!

This is a bold and flavourful tea that I first heard about in a BBC documentary, “One Cup A Thousand Stories.”
Not many tea companies stock it, but it was well worth tracking down.
If you like strong tea, this is the one for you. It has a very significant fragrance, but instead of floral notes such as you get in an Earl Grey, this tea has a damp and earthy smell that, to be frank, isn’t what you might be expecting from tea.
But this characteristic just adds to the whole experience of drinking this tea.
If you are seeking a new and unique tea, this is definitely worth trying.
I hope you enjoy it!

A mild yet complex tea.

A very mild tea.  I tried at various temps and times but still couldn’t find anything that made this a good tea.

Absolute in love with this product. It’s somehow sweet, nutty, floral and fruity all at the same time. This is one of the only places I’ve been able to find raw carob nibs! Super fresh and will definitely be purchasing again.

A gorgeous tea!!  A very mild flavoured but just so nice!!  I really enjoy this tea.  This would be really good for people wanting to start a tea habit.  Don’t let the price turn you off.

Absolutely fantastic!!  This tea is so good, that after every sip, you will say, “This is a good tea!”  I found it to be strong in taste.  Pricey, but good to the last drop!

This tea is one of my favorites. Strong and malty. Excellent!

I didn’t really get much from this tea.  Very mellow and unfulfilling.  I tried different temperatures and times and could never find anything that worked for me.  Now, I was using this as regular tea not kombucha.

Wonderful black tea. My new favorite! Bought a small bag to sample and forgot about it in my cupboard for a couple months. WOW was that ever a mistake. Extremely well balanced tea. Aboutely delicious. It has usurped the classic Assam TGFOP as my morning cup which was no easy feat!

A super nice smoky flavor. I will try it for my next batch of Kombucha.
Pretty sure using this infusion in a cake would be incredible. A some sort of s’mores inspired or even in some cocktails would be awesome!

Surprised by the previous review. I really enjoyed this tea. No bitterness or ashiness that I sometimes find with this type of tea.

Disapointed. I drink CTC since years now and wanted to find a organic one. But the tea is weak. I have to double the amount i use to get the same result. For such an expensive price, i was expecting more.

Exactly like Jdeltin. I know Valerian isn’t supposed to smell good. But it smelled and tasted like dirt from an old cave. As if the product had not properly been dried before packaging or it has been stored in a humid basement, started to rot and they just removed the top layer and sold what still looked good.

One of my most favourite teas that is included in every order I place from Shanti. Absolutely the best Earl Grey I’ve tried.

Probably not my favourite but I liked this tea..different than the fruity ones, slightly woodsy taste to it as someone else pointed out..

I’ve tried several green teas. This is now my favourite.
